You can really see the mining in this hotel. it adds to the atmosphere. the room was large comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is great for a wander to the Big Winch cafe pub. The mining museum is next door. We really enjoyed our stay

What an amazing hotel! From the moment we arrived we were treated with friendly open service. We had lots of questions (dietary needs, travelling with disabilities) and ALL of them were answered so competently with great recommendations for what would most suit us in Cooper Pedy. We were exhausted from the days travel, yet check in was quick and simple, and our room was huge and welcoming. The common areas of the underground hotel were beautiful and amazing to look around. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime stay… so good that we plan to return next year!
